Test/Analysis Service Operation Process

 

1. In order to benefit from the test/analysis service, the analysis owner must write a petition to the Chemistry Department Head via the department head.

2. The petition should include brief information about the content of the sample to be analyzed and the information of the person who will bring the analysis samples.

3. If the request is deemed appropriate, the device manager will contact the analysis owner via e-mail regarding the analysis date and time information. 

The analysis process will work as follows:

UV-Vis

  • 5 samples,
  • Analysis will be performed for only one person per week. The number of samples will definitely not be exceeded,
  • A petition requesting reanalysis must be submitted for subsequent samples.

Friday

14:00-15:00

  • There should be no solid particles remaining in solutions/liquids,
  • The sample should have a homogeneous appearance.
  • Ethanol (for cleaning),
  • Soft paper towel,
  • CD

FT-IR

Spectrum Two

  • 5 samples,
  • One person can bring a maximum of 5 samples. The number of samples will definitely not be exceeded,
  • A petition requesting reanalysis must be submitted for subsequent samples.

Wednesday

14:00-15:00

  • Solid samples should not be hard and coarse grained, 
  • The sample must be pulverized,
  • Liquid samples should not have high acidity/alkalicity that would damage the measurement surface.
  • Ethanol (for cleaning),
  • Small spatula,
  • Soft paper towel,
  • CD
