Design Project course is offered in the third year of the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering program. In this course, students engage in one-on-one meetings with an academic advisor throughout the semester to work on designing a chosen device or process within a selected topic. They consult their advisor for guidance and aim to understand and apply various design tools for problem-solving in engineering.
The Graduation Project is in the fourth year. Again, students collaborate individually or in teams with an academic advisor of their choice. This course demands a more comprehensive project compared to the Design Project course. Similar to the Design Project course, it progresses through meetings between the advisor and the student or the student group, rather than traditional classroom sessions.
