The inaugural lecture for the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year was held with the esteemed participation of Dr. Yusuf Gökhan YOLCU.

Addressing the protection of personal data within the domain of artificial intelligence, Dr. YOLCU highlighted the foundational principles of ethics and security, which are indispensable components of a career in data science. The event provided an in-depth analysis of the fundamental legal concepts required in our professional lives, the regulatory frameworks necessitated by AI projects, and the proportional limits in data processing, followed by an engaging Q&A session.

Concluding the program, our Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Hakan ADIGÜZEL, presented Dr. Yusuf Gökhan YOLCU with a certificate of appreciation.
