Under the supervision of faculty members Prof. Dr. Hakan ADIGÜZEL and Prof. Dr. Aydın SEÇER, our department's undergraduate student Mustafa Enes KAYHAN presented the studies he prepared alongside Zehra YILMAZ, another student from our department, as a poster at an international conference.

The studies examined the rainfall-runoff relationship and the variations of dissolved oxygen in estuaries. Various deep learning models were developed using meteorological, hydrological, and environmental data. These models were used to predict runoff volume, dissolved oxygen levels, and the risk of hypoxia.

The predictive performances of the models were compared using different performance metrics.
