According to our university's UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT COUNSELING APPLICATION GUIDELINE;

Article 4-(1)

(3) The counselor;

a) Supervises and guides the course taking procedures of the students under his/her responsibility. 

b) Deals with the educational problems of the students he/she is responsible for during the education period. 

c) Informs the students about conferences, panels, seminars and similar events in order to support their academic development. 

d) Informs the student about postgraduate education and academic career. 

e) Monitors the student's success status. 

f) Determines and announces meeting hours with the student. 

(4) Counseling continues until the student graduates from university, except in cases of necessity.
