Dear Students,

Environmental Engineering, as an engineering branch, clearly demonstrates the ideas and practices in the solution of environmental problems; safe and delicious water supply to large masses, recovery or disposal of wastewater and solid wastes, establishment of adequate infrastructure in urban and rural areas in terms of public health, control of soil, water and pollution in air and the social and environmental impacts in solving these problems. is a branch of engineering which deals with the determination of the impact of technological developments.

Bursa Technical University, Environmental Engineering Department; was established in 2010 in accordance with the qualifications of our university as a research university. Since 2015-2016 academic year, she gives education in undergraduate and graduate programs. The ın Air Pollution Research Laboratory de and tarafından Water-Wastewater Research Laboratory ı within the Environmental Engineering Department are both used by our faculty members for scientific research studies and meet the testing and analysis needs of public and private institutions.

The main objective of our department is to continue education activities with the understanding of development, to carry out original research activities in the field of environmental pollution, to provide service to the society with knowledge and experience on environmental issues, to train engineers who are capable of leadership in team work.
