Faculty member of our department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meral AKKOYUN KURTLU and a group of scientists from our university, have contributed to the transformation of bee bread into an invention that can be utilized in industrial and medical fields. With the invention patented, the product derived from bee bread can be applied locally, particularly in artificial veins, prosthetics, and wound infections.
