Purpose of Programme

To train high-quality scientists in the field of polymer engineering who have the ability to conduct research and application, work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, design and plan materials that will enhance the quality of life, and to cultivate professionals who are ethically responsible in their field.

Aim of Programme

The aim is to train individuals who specialize in the design, production, processing, development, application, and quality control of polymer-based materials, and who are capable of solving technical problems that may arise during all these stages, based on engineering principles and fundamental scientific principles. These individuals will acquire the ability to generate research, knowledge, technological value, and to adapt their creations to life, shaping the future.

History of the MSc Programme

Our Department of Fiber and Polymer Engineering started admitting students to its Master's program starting from the Spring semester of the 2012-2013 academic year, and with the decision taken on March 20, 2020, it was renamed as Polymer Materials Engineering.
