Dear Students,

BTÜ Department of Computer Engineering was established in 2016. Our staff is growing up every year with the participation of new faculty members.

We supports the principles of Open Source and Free software in order to reduce the dependency of our country on foreign software and to support the development of national software and attaches importance to the students' knowledge in these areas. In addition, students who are interested in networking and information security will also be supported by elective courses in this field.

Our department aims to educate Computer Engineers who can be directed to Bioinformatics field which is one of the most recent study areas of Computer Engineering with the course "Introduction to Computational Biology" in the undergraduate program.

In addition, we provide scholarship opportunities at companies with varying rates every year.
