The opening of the Department of Physics under the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences within Bursa Technical University and the Department of Physics within the Department of Physics was approved by the General Assembly Meeting of the Council of Higher Education dated 06.07.2017. The MSc program became active for the first time in 2020. The Higher Education Council approved the PhD program in May 2021 and the BSc program in June.
