OUR MISSION

The mission of Chemical Engineering Department is to educate engineers who are equipped with the necessary modern engineering knowledge which is required by their vocation, who possess the necessary knowledge, skill and vocational and ethical responsibility needed to solve problems of the ındustry and contribute to the development and expansion of the technology in our country and worldwide by realizing basic and applied research.

The vision of our department is becoming one of the most recognized and prestigious Chemical Engineering Departments nationally and internationally by the education it is giving, the engineers it educates, the research it is doing and the contribution it makes to science.  As industry is prevalent in Bursa, the Chemical Engineering department at BTU aims to become one of the most prominent Chemical Engineering departments in Turkey that provides university- industry collaboration. The undergraduate Chemical Engineering Program will be one that prepares the students for the future according to the latest developments nationally and globally within the field of chemical engineering. To enable this program is prepared according to national and international accreditation body criteria.
