The Production Systems Laboratory is an education and research center that enables the applied learning of modern production management and planning techniques. In this laboratory, applications are conducted where lean production principles are implemented using a production line, kanban system, and stock and supermarket areas. Students gain practical experience by physically assembling various components, experiencing the operation of a production line, and observing how planning affects the production field. Through this, they learn how to efficiently plan production processes, improving areas such as production planning and demand forecasting. The laboratory aims to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of lean production techniques through practical training, contributing to the optimization of industrial processes, and serves as a platform for academic research as well.
